An organization that works with rescued farm animals and at-risk children is looking for a new home.

Semiahmoo Animal League founder Keryn Denroche confirmed Wednesday that the search is underway.

The farm has called four acres on 176 Street in South Surrey – not far from Surrey Fire Hall 14 – home since December 2014.

Denroche said the land and buildings “require significant upgrade and maintenance.” As well, plans to develop the surrounding area are pending, she said.

She is hoping to relocate SALI to a larger property.
