DELTA - The North Delta Area Plan open house will be held next Tuesday.
The Corporation of Delta will be presenting an updated draft area plan and is seeking public input before it's presented to council for debate.
The open house will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 11, at the Sungod Recreation Centre gymnasium at 7815-112th St.
There will be a series of displays summarizing key policy ideas and land use designations proposed in the plan, as well as comment forms.
Following the open house and a review of the feedback received, municipal staff will prepare bylaws to introduce the plan to council for consideration.
Meanwhile, the draft area plan will be posted on Delta's website on March 8, for viewing.
The North Delta Area Plan open house will run concurrently with engineering information meetings on the 112th Street and 80th Avenue two-lane roundabout, and the North Delta ravines integrated stormwater management plan. Visit delta.ca for project information.
