One injured in Surrey home invasion

Police believe early morning incident July 7 in 14300-block of 72 Avenue was targeted.

Surrey RCMP is investigating a home invasion, after responding to a report of an assault in the 14300-block of 72 Avenue early Tuesday.

The incident was reported around 1:30 a.m. July 7.

Police arrived to find a 35-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation revealed that the assault occurred when two males broke into the home. Police believe the incident was targeted and that those involved are known to each other.
