Police ask for help in year-old Surrey double murder

On the one-year anniversary of a Surrey double-murder, police are once again asking for public assistance in finding the killer of John Edward McGiveron and Geordie Wesley Carlow.

The two were in a parkade in the 9400-block of 128 Street on Jan. 13 last year when someone gunned them down and drove off.

A vehicle was seen taking off from the scene, and is described as a green SUV or pick-up truck towing a box utility trailer.

“Today, on this anniversary, we ask those with the intimate details of this double murder to come forward with information and assist us in finding who is responsible,” said Cpl. Dominic Duchesneau of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).
