NORTH DELTA — Police have yet to identify a suspect in a shooting early Saturday morning outside a house party in North Delta.

A 24-year-old man was shot in the 11400-block of 92nd Avenue, at about 4:30 a.m., on the roadway in front of the house.

He was taken to hospital and treated for injuries that weren't considered to be life threatening. Police are trying to determine a motive for the shooting.

"The suspects are unknown at this time but are believed to have fled in a black SUV," Sgt. Sarah Swallow said.

"We don't believe it was a random shooting."
