Police seek robbery suspect

Police are looking to identify this man.

Police are pleading for help from the public in identifying a person suspected of robbing a cabbie last month.

On Saturday, May 16 at about 1:10 a.m., Mounties were called to a robbery of a cab driver in the 10300-block of 127A Street.

Someone assaulted the driver and stole money and property from him before fleeing. Police were unable to track the suspect.

Surveillance video has now been obtained from the taxi cab, however, the male currently remains unidentified.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 6’, with a muscular build wearing a light coloured long sleeve shirt, dark sweatpants, sneakers, and a baseball hat.
