A motor vehicle accident close to Allison Pool has caused a power outage all along Chilliwack Lake Road.

Several RCMP and other first responders were called to the area on June 25, at about 1:45 p.m. BC Hydro estimates their crew will arrive shortly after 3 p.m. The power outage affects 820 people. There is no word on the condition of anyone involved in the vehicle incident.

There are three other unrelated power outages in Chilliwack, including one affecting about 200 customers in the Five Corners area of downtown. Two other outages are due to planned work on BC Hydro equipment. Those are in a community off Keith Wilson, and in the Eastern Hillsides.
