SURREY — A 69-year-old Surrey man is dead after police say he was hit by a pickup truck at a crosswalk.
Police say the truck was going southbound in the 9300-block 140th Street at about 5 p.m. Saturday when the pedestrian was hit.
The driver is co-operating and alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor.
