SURREY - Police are investigating a spectacular four-vehicle crash in Newton Tuesday night that sent seven people to hospital.

Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann said all injuries were minor.

"Pretty darn lucky."

The crash happened in the 7900-block of 152nd Street, just before 9:30 p.m. A white Mercedes was heading south on 152nd when it T-boned a Toyota 4Runner that was pulling out of a golf course.

The Mercedes then crashed head-on into a northbound pickup truck.

Meanwhile, a hand-pulled golf cart was ejected from the 4Runner and hit a Honda Civic.

Speed has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.
