SURREY — Police investigating a report of shots fired late Wednesday night are now seeking a warrant to search a house in Fleetwood.

“We found a casing,” Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann said.

The investigation led them to a house in the 15600-block of 88th Ave. that is “known to police,” he added.

Several people were inside the house, Schumann said, but no one was injured or arrested.

Police were called to the scene at about 11:20 p.m.
