SURREY — A Surrey couple out walking their dogs Tuesday afternoon returned to find their home on fire.
It's not yet known what caused the blaze, which ate through the roof of the house at 13582-59th Ave. Nobody was injured, Surrey Deputy Fire Chief Dan Barnscher said. "It's being investigated as we speak.
"It was fairly involved when we arrived."
Barnscher said emergency social services have found temporary lodgings for the couple and their two dogs.
