A 49-year-old Surrey man has pleaded guilty to a string of break-ins to two separate New Westminster SkyTrain stations and ATMs at those stations.

Just after 5 a.m. on March 3, members front the New Westminster Police arrested Harvey Peter Hogan on the elevated SkyTrain tracks between Lougheed and Braid SkyTrain stations. Police say he was trying to evade capture after breaking into the Braid station.

Metro Vancouver Transit Police recognized Hogan as the same man seen on video breaking into the 22nd Street Station  and the ATM at that station, at about 3:30 a.m. two days prior.

Hogan pleaded guilty to a total of 12 charges relating to the incidents on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Charges include michief under $5,000, break and enter, and possession of break in instruments.

He is known to police and will be sentenced on Nov. 12 in New Westminster.
