SURREY — Local New Democrat MP Jinny Sims is hosting a public meeting tonight on cuts to Canada Post service, at Strawberry Hill Library.

Residents of the MP’s Newton-North Delta riding are invited to share their stories about how cuts to home delivery have affected their lives.

“My office has received over 300 pieces of mail on this issue, in addition to many phone calls,” Sims said. “I know that postal delivery service is important to people in B.C. and want to hear more about their experiences will community boxes and postal cuts.”

The meeting tonight — Tuesday — will begin at 7 p.m., at 7399-122nd St.
