Surrey police urn their pay

SURREY — Looks like the Surrey RCMP have urned their pay.

Mounties put out a public bulletin last week about a silver urn that was found in South Surrey four months ago.

A woman was walking in Redwood Park, near the 17900-block of 20th Avenue, on March 16th when she found the urn in a small hole under a tree. It has birds engraved on it with blue markings around the engravings, and a tag on the bottom with the name "Ken Peters."

It has since “been reunited with the appropriate family members,” Cpl. Bert Paquet said.
