UPDATE: Missing 68-year-old Surrey man located

UPDATE: Surrey RCMP issued a news release Saturday, saying that Stanley Peters, 68, has been located and is safe.

Peters was reported missing Jan. 4.

Surrey police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 68-year-old man.

Stanley Peters was last seen around 11 a.m. on Friday (Jan. 4) in the area of Surrey Memorial Hospital, according to a news release from Surrey RCMP on Saturday (Jan.5).

Police said Peters, who “requires daily medication and can become easily disoriented,” has not been seen or heard from since.

RCMP describe Peters as Caucasian, six-foot-three, 250 lbs. with grey hair and green eyes. Police said that he was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, dark grey sweatpants and brown shoes, adding that Peters also uses a black and green coloured walker.

“Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being,” the release states.
