Surrey RCMP investigate shooting in Royal Heights

SURREY — Shots were fired at a house in Royal Heights early Friday morning, in the 11700-block of 96th Avenue.

No injuries have been reported. It’s the 13th shooting in Surrey since the beginning of March.

Police are looking for a silver import, possibly a Honda Civic, which took off from the scene.

“This investigation is in its early stages, however, and officers are still trying to determine whether this incident is targeted,” Surrey RCMP Sgt. Dale Carr said. “The occupants of the home are not known to police.”

The Surrey RCMP learned of the shooting at 5 a.m.
