Wednesday, May 28 – BCTF says rotating strikes will continue next week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. See below for list of districts and days affected.

Monday May 26 – Education Minister Peter Fassbender rules out any swift move to legislate teachers back to work.

May 22 – School districts plan stop-work order limiting teachers hours. BCTF sees move as preparation for 10 % pay cut, warns it will disrupt after-hours activities, including grad ceremonies.

May 17 – Province offers $1,200 signing bonus, coupled with threat of escalating pay cuts if teachers refuse duties. Government abandons 10-year contract, revised offer is six years.
