Surrey RCMP say a teen was stabbed in Newton Sunday night.
Police were called to a home near 138th Street and 71st Avenue at about 7:30 p.m.
Officers found a 17-year-old boy who had been stabbed. He was take to hospital in stable condition.
A suspect has been arrested.
Police say an altercation led to the stabbing and it’s believed the two people knew each other.
