Three men charged in violent sex assaults

SURREY - The Surrey RCMP has charged three men with 17 criminal offences related to two violent sex assaults against prostitutes dating back to 2012.

 

In both cases, the women were picked up and taken to secluded areas.

 

Simranpreet Singh Dhillon has been charged with two counts of sex assault with a weapon, two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm, two counts of unlawful confinement, aggravated sexual assault and robbery times two.

 

Sukhraj Singh Chahal and Gurjinder Sodha have both been charged with sexual assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement and robbery.

 

Police are concerned that there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact the Surrey RCMP Child Abuse and Sexual Offence (CASO) Unit at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
