Tolls rise on Golden Ears Bridge

Annual inflation adjustment adds between a nickel and 20 cents to crossing costs

Golden Ears Bridge tolls tick up a notch for inflation on July 15.

Transponder-equipped cars will pay $2.95 per crossing – five cents more – while those with no registered account that are billed by mail will pay $4.20, up 10 cents.

Increases for trucks and motorcycles range from 10 to 20 cents.

TransLink said the increases are in line with the 1.9 per cent rise in the Consumer Price Index over the past year.
