SURREY — Police have ruled out the possibility of homicide for a body found near the picnic shelter of Robertson Drive Park in Whalley early Monday morning.
The body of a man was discovered by passersby out for an early morning walk and Surrey RCMP were on the scene just after 6 a.m. Police are still working to make a positive identification of the body, but released a short statement early Monday afternoon.
"Based on the evidence found at the scene, foul play is not suspected in the death of a male located this morning in the 12700 block of 92nd Avenue in Robertson Drive Park."
Public access to the park has been blocked pending a full investigation.
