Police are investigating an incident at Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Stephanie Cadieux's office this morning.
A man smashed the glass on the two front doors to the office using a piece of concrete. Surrey RCMP were called at 8:50 a.m., but the suspect fled before they arrived.
The man was described as a slim and short caucasian, around 30 years old, and was wearing dark clothes.
At least four officers were searching the surrounding area with a canine unit in an attempt to find the man. They were unsuccessful and the suspect remains at large.
Police are still looking for witnesses and are attempting to locate surveillance video of the event.
No one was hurt in the incident.
