A multi-month investigation by New Westminster police has resulted in several arrests, and the seizure of $300,000 in fentanyl and heroin in Surrey and New Westminster.

Through “several” search warrants, vehicles, cash, weapons and drugs were seized, police said during a press conference Monday.

Thanks to those who tuned into our press conference. Thanks to the Street Crime Unit for their excellent police work. Remember, if you see drug activity in your neighbourhood please call your local police.

Numerous people known to police were arrested, and charges are now being forwarded to Crown for approval including multiple counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Police could not speak to how many people have been arrested as the investigation is ongoing, involving the Canadian Border Services Agency, and Delta police.

More to come.
