An elderly Indo-Canadian man was smacked around by a woman attempting to rob him on Thursday night.
The 67-year-old man was walking through Holland Park at just before 7 p.m. when a woman, believed to be in her mid-20s, started punching him in the head.
Knocking him down, she attempted to go for his wallet.
Passers-by confronted her, and she took off on foot.
Police arrived with the dog team but were unable to find her.
She is described as a Caucasian woman, about 110 lbs with long brown hair.
