Police investigate the scene in North Surrey where a woman was struck and killed Tuesday morning.

A woman in her 40s was not in a marked crosswalk while crossing 152 Street near 104 Avenue when she was struck.



A young woman has died after being hit by a car in North Surrey.

At about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, a woman was crossing 152 Street near 104 Avenue when she was hit by a southbound car.

The 18 year old died at the scene. She was not in a pedestrian crosswalk when she was hit, police say.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
