Purpose: To permit suites in townhouse zones within transit-oriented areas and frequent bus stop areas.

Amendments to Surrey Zoning By-law, 1993, No. 12000: Part 5 Off-Street Parking for Bicycle Parking Spaces—Corporate Report R093

Purpose: To revise bicycle parking requirements for multifamily developments to improve efficiencies and increase housing affordability.

Purpose: These new amendments support streamlining the City’s development and permitting processes.

Purpose: The applicant is requesting to amend the Official Community Plan Table 7a: Land Use Designation Exceptions for the Lands by permitting density of up to 2.67 FAR. The proposal also includes zoning a portion of the Lands labelled as Block 1 from Acreage Residential Zone (RA) to CD 21662 and a portion of the lands labelled as Block 2 from Acreage Residential Zone (RA) to Compact Residential Zone (R5) to allow a proposed development generally consisting of 4 low rise apartment buildings, including 1 mixed use building, and one single family lot. The exact location and area definition of the lands being amended can be found in the Survey Plan contained within the bylaw.

Purpose: The applicant is requesting to amend the Official Community Plan Figure 3: General Land Use Designations from Urban to Multiple Residential and to amend Table 7a: Land Use Designation Exceptions by permitting a density of up to 2.5 FAR. The proposal also includes rezoning the Lands from Urban Residential Zone (R3) in accordance with CD 21486 to allow a proposed development generally consisting of two six-storey residential buildings containing 10 secured non-market rental, 58 secured market rental and 70 market strata dwelling units over two levels of underground parking in Whalley.

Purpose: The applicant is requesting to amend the Official Community Plan Figure 3: General Land Use Designations for a portion of the Lands shaded in grey from Commercial (COMM) to Multiple Residential (MR). The proposal also includes zoning a portion of the Lands labelled Block A, B and C from Acreage Residential Zone (RA) to CD 21667 and a portion of the Lands labelled Block E from Acreage Residential Zone (RA) to Urban Residential Zone (R3) to allow a development generally consisting of eight six-storey buildings on two development lots. The exact location and area definition of the lands being amended can be found in the Survey Plan contained within the bylaw.
