Council supported the rezoning application and authorized notification to the public. On July 8, 2024, Council adopted bylaw changes to meet the requirements of new provincial legislation regarding small-scale multi-unit housing. To facilitate the alignment of instream rezoning applications, the original bylaw was filed, and a new bylaw was drafted to follow the current legislation. Renotification of the rezoning bylaw is required ,outlined in Corporate Report R163.
