PIROG, Antonina. June 29, 1922 (Poland) - July 8, 2013. As a Surrey resident for 64 years, “Toni” made an incredible number of friends through her passion for hobby farming, gardening, sewing, and most of all, cooking and entertaining guests with her husband Jan. Her generosity and old country charm will be sadly missed along with her famous blueberry perogies and other culinary delights!
Touching many lives for 91 years, she now joins husband Jan and granddaughter Angie in a heavenly reunion. Survived by her daughter Janina (Henry), son Robert (Valerie), granddaughter Julia, sister Lola, along with many nieces and nephews in Poland. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14644 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey.
