McBAIN - Archie William born January 16, 1925 in Vida, Montana died on March 8, 2006 in White Rock, BC at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Peggy in 1999 Archie is survived by sons Richard (Sharon), Ken (Lee) and daughter Lorraine (Buster), all of Surrey, BC. Also survived by his grandchildren Larry, Lisa, Amber, Terra and Sabrina and well as great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Archie lived life on his own terms and was a good friend to all who knew him. He moved from Montana to Cloverdale as a child with sister Esther and parents Bill and Elsie around 1930. Archie spent most of his working life as a self-employed trucker and dealt mostly with livestock. Archie and Peggy moved to Princeton for their retirement years where they had many good times and friends. Archie's last few years were hard but he never complained however, he remained Archie, cantankerous to the end. The family wishes to thank the great people of Weatherby II for all the support they have provided over the last 8 years. At Archie's request no services will be held.
