WRAYTON, "Bud" Arnot Moncur

May 19, 1918 - January 19, 2008

Passed away peacefully in Surrey with family at his side. Predeceased by loving wife Barbara; son Edward and great-grandson Austin Wrayton.

Forever remembered by daughters:

Barbara Ann May; Beverley Wrayton and Linda (Dave) Vernon: daughter-in-law Susan Wrayton: eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.

Bud was born in Assiniboia Saskatchewan. The youngest of three boys. The family moved to Burnaby when he was young. In 1938 he married wife

Barbara moving to Cloverdale where he lived for almost 70 years. During these years he raised his loving family, extended family, race horses and beef cattle. He spent several years racing horses at Landsdown and Exhibition Park and was very proud that some of his horses were stake winners and were inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame. Bud loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours hunting and fishing with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He especially loved the time he spent at his cabin on Sulphurous Lake near 100 Mile House.

A celebration of Bud's life will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 2:00 P.M. in the Cloverdale United Church - 17575 58A Ave., Surrey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of B. C. #300-828 W.8th Ave., Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1E2
