April 18, 1962 - August 5, 2018
Brenda passed away peacefully in the company of family at Al Hogg Pavillion in White Rock BC on August 5, 2018. She was born to Don & Thelma (deceased) Wood in Saint-Boniface Manitoba. She grew up and went to school in Surrey, BC.
Along with her husband David, she raised 5 beautiful children (Lynn, Donald, Candace, Colin and Steven) and had 12 Grandchildren that were the highlight of her life. She has 6 Siblings (Donna, Jim, Maxine, Michael, Tammy and Michelle(deceased) and too numerous of loving nieces and nephews to list.
Brenda worked quite a few years at (Boutique VV) Value Village where she learned to be a shopaholic and collector of fine clothes and shoes. She had a love of dogs in her youth (Max, Shadow and Sunny) and truly enjoyed her work at Anipet Pet Supplies for over 16 years until she became ill.
She got together with her American life partner David in 2002 through her love of bingo and gambling and that took her on many fun adventures to Reno, Las Vegas, and Laughlin NV.
In her spare time she loved to watch television and would hardly ever miss Wheel of Fortune, The Andy Griffith show or all day Saturday Westerns on ME TV while sitting on the couch re-hemming a pair of pants or shirt or repainting a pair of shoes.
Brenda is no longer suffering or in pain and is now free to do whatever she wants! B I N G O!!
Memorial donations in her name can be made to Diabetes Canada or The American Diabetes Association
A Celebration of Brenda's Loving Life is planned on Sunday August 19 from 11 am - 3 pm at Newlands Golf & Country Club (21025 48th Ave, Langley BC) All friends & family invited.
