PARRY, Christina. Russell (nee Legge)
January 19,1920 - July 13, 2011
Christina was born at Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver in 1948. In 1957 the Parry's moved to Surrey where they settled. Christina was predeceased by her husband, Art. She is survived by her loving family: Marlene (Ray Olson), Ted (Danette), Russell and Douglas. Her grandsons are Christopher (Dagny), Benjamin (Adrienne, Nicholas), Daniel (Candace, Hunter), and Jeremy (Myley). Being active in the United Church, her community and her varied career opportunities kept Mom busy. She was also a meticulous homemaker and gardener. Mom led an active social life and enjoyed all travel adventures.
Mom's faith and her loving, caring spirit will always be remembered and admired. A celebration of life will be held for Christina at Amazing Grace United Church located at 12740-102 Ave. Surrey, BC on August 8, 2011 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kinsmen Place Lodge, or the Oak Ave Neighborhood Hub where Christina volunteered for a number of years.
