October 17, 1971 - January 8, 2025
In loving memory ~
It is with shattered hearts and unbearable grief that we share the passing of our wonderful son Christopher Brian Walker, age 53, on January 8, 2025, from health issues. A son, father, brother and uncle lived a life filled with tremendous passion. He had so much left to share and give to the world and it was way too soon.
Born on October 17, 1971, he lived his entire life in Delta and Surrey BC. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis Walker in 1991. He is survived by his mother Elaine, stepfather Brian, his two brothers Ryan and Jeff, Julie, and children Sebastian, Izac and Julianna. His four stepsisters and special friend Rica, along with their children, will all mourn him deeply. His many aunts, uncles and cousins, nephews and nieces are all saddened by his passing.
He graduated from high school at North Delta Senior Secondary and is an alumnus of Emily Carr Design College to which he attended while working to pay his way. His career was primarily industrial design and manufacturing, He spent 10 years with a trade show design and install facility in Richmond as production and design manager and his projects took him throughout Canada and the US, Portugal and the Middle East.
He enjoyed the outdoors with his children, off-roading and tinkering and working with his hands. He was strong-willed and stubborn at times. He was ridiculously talented and full to the brim of everyday knowledge gained through all of his life experiences, whether in design, art, painting, mechanic or construction-he could fix or build or adapt anything. He had a great appreciation for antiques and collectibles.
His calmness and bear hugs will be remembered and missed by all his friends and family. He truly loved each of them, and if you knew him, you knew it. We find comfort in the memories and the love we shared with Chris. He will forever hold a place in our hearts and leaves a void that can never be filled.
A celebration of life will occur with details provided later.
