Donald Ray Miller aged 74 years, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday March 12, 2008. He was predeceased by his father, Sandford; mother, Florence; and his brothers, Burt, Bill and Bob. Ray is sadly missed by his loving wife of over 51 years, Janet; sisters, Marion, Pat and Sharron; daughter, Tish; sons Don (Shelley), Randy (Cheryl) and Sandy; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tara, Amanda, Dana, Jaybree, Jasmine, Connor, Grayson and Griffen; as well as many relatives and friends. Ray will be remembered by many as a long-term and well-respected employee of Zappone Trucking and Cloverdale Raceway/Fraser Downs, and as a dedicated volunteer at the Legion. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Cloverdale Branch #6 - 17567 - 57 Avenue on Thursday, March 20 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Legion Poppy Fund or Canadian Cancer Society.
