Dorothy Ellis passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the age of 89 in Langley Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Ellis, parents Walter and Violet Scott and sister, Helen Dickson. She left behind her loving son and grand daughter, Jim and Lauren Hammersley and many family and friends.
Dorothy served for Canada during the Second World War with St. John's Ambulance in England with courage and dedication. She received an award of appreciation for her efforts from the Governor General of Canada in 2005 in Ottawa.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at The Renaissance Inn, 6676-203 St. Langley, June 14, 2009 at 1:30 pm.
