February 20, 1935 - June 19, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Dorothy Maxine Randall (Nee Gant) announce her passing on Sunday, June 19th, 2022. Maxine, as she liked to be called, was born on February 20th, 1935, in St. John's , NewFoundland. She was born to David and Etta Maude (Manning) Gant and was the younger of the siblings of David, John, Alfred, Roy, Nadine and Doreen (predeceased). Finding her sweetheart, Charles Randall, at the age of twenty-one, they married in 1957 and they remained by each other's side until her passing. Maxine gave birth to her only daughter Patricia (Klahm) in 1958 and remained a devoted housewife and mother until 1982, when she became a grandmother to her only grandchild, Amber (Klahm).
A fiery red head to match her personality she was also a generous, caring soul who loved animals and her family. Anyone who met her came away with a smile and a laugh.
