Everett Gilbert
Passed away peacefully after a heroic battle with cancer, in Surrey, BC on October 9, 2008, at the age of 51. Predeceased by both his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, beautiful daughters Sherry (Elliott), Rhonda (Marty), Bobbie Jo (Jeff), several grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Everett's ever ready smile, quirky sense of humour and loving way will forever remain with those who were lucky enough to share his life. Everett was a man of many talents and interests with an insatiable desire to repair, rebuild or design anything and everything that could improve the lives of those he loved. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping, fishing and entertaining with his guitar. Everett will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten remaining forever in the hearts of those who knew him. Shirley would like to thank all family, friends and Fleetwood Place for their love, support and thoughtfulness through out this difficult journey.
