LANG, Faye (Florence) Lorraine
It is with deep sadness we announce Faye has joined the departed on Feb. 20, 2007 at the age of 64 after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Carl (2002) & Edith (2004) Horst, brother Ken Horst (2007), first husband Clifford Raun (1972), second husband Stuart Lang (2002) & daughter Corrinne Raun (2003). Survived by her wonderful children Mona, Rhonda, Dallas, splendid grandchildren Joel, Alisha, Deanna, Andrew, Shane, brother Donald Horst & sisters Vera Fonkalsrud, Donna Dobranski & Carol Kegler.
Born in Lamont, AB she made her way to Vancouver in 1986 where she would work as a Clerk for the City of Surrey. She was always very proud and thankful for her friends at work. Her favorite things included gardening, puzzles, casino trips, reading, Desperate Housewives, Rod Stewart, Johnny Cash and her children & grandchildren.
The Family would like to thank Val Manuel, Rob Samus, Eduarda Ferreira & Jessica Teves for all their help & support.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 3, 2007 at 14:00 at Valley View Memorial (Arbor Chapel) 14644 72nd Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CNIB or Cancer Society.
