BYRNE - Frank John passed away peacefully at home on Saturday September 6, 2008. Born May 28, 1922 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Frank was a veteran in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He was a longtime member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitter's Union Local 170 and worked for C.N.R. for 37 years. He was dedicated to his family, kind and gentle, supportive, always helpful, ready to lend a hand and share his expertise. He especially enjoyed "Happy Hour" and a good chuckle with family and friends. A special person to all who met him. Frank will be lovingly remembered by Iris, the love of his life and wife of 66 years, daughters Cheryl (Rick), Norma and Daria (Glenn), grandchildren Rod, Lori, Clint, Frank and Jessica, two great-grandchildren Brandan and Bailey also by many other relatives and friends.
