Henderson/Shapansky nee: Rutt
Geraldine Mary Passed away peacefully on June 12, 2012 at Abbotsford General hospital. Gerrie is predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Rutt and her six sisters and two brothers. She is lovingly remembered by her twin sister Doreen, her sister Mary and brother George. Her eight children were her life and where her love lied. Gerrie, Bev, George, Arnold, Helen, John, Rod and Zina. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and three great grand children. Gerrie was born in Montreal, Quebec on June 25, 1930. She loved music and you would always catch dancing or singing no matter what she was doing. As her wishes there will be a celebration of life where she loved to sit and relax by the river with her children and others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and many thanks for the amazing care that Dr. Lewis and the staff gave our beloved mother on her final days at Abbotsford General Hospital.
