Hannah Katherine (Helen) Legere (nee Johannesson) of Surrey passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2005. She was born October 31, 1920 in Wynyard, Sask., and was one of seven children.
She was predeceased by her father Thorarin in 1958, her eldest son Teddy (Frank Edward) in 1970, her beloved husband Frank Edward in 1971, and her mother Gudrun in 1972.
She is survived by her son's, Doug (Louise), of Beach Park, Illinois, Deryl (Sandy), Deryk (Janice), and daughter Holly (John) Carson, all from Surrey and thirteen grandchildren and their spouses, 8 great grand-children, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
It is with peaceful sorrow that we let her go to soar with the angels, and know she is watching down on us with love and pride. We could not have asked for a more loving, caring and dedicated mother. Many heartfelt thanks to those who cared for her at Cherington Place and Charles Barham Pavilion.
A memorial service will be held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 10330 144 St, Surrey on April 23, 2005 at 3 pm in The Fireside Room. In lieu of flowers donations to Cherington Place in her memory would be appreciated. 13453 - 111 A Ave., Surrey, BC.
