February 14, 1940 - March 13, 2019
Hans was born in Leipzig, Germany on February 14, 1940, immigrated to Canada with his family in 1952 and grew up in Cranbrook, B.C. He moved to Vancouver in 1965. Hans was a member of the Teamster Union, driving his delivery truck until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed cribbage, billiards and watching old western movies.
He is survived by his daughter Elaine, grandchildren Corrin and Jay and great- grandchildren Taylor, Ethan and Mason. He is also survived by his sister, Reinhild, niece Connie (Brent) and nephew Craig (Michelle) and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Amos Ferguson Manor, 8243 152nd Street, Surrey, BC between 2 - 4 pm. Call (604)996-6194 for directions.
