ALLEN, Helen Mary
(nee Schuster)
Helen was born January 12, 1914 in Lipton Saskatchewan. She left us peacefully in her sleep, on April 17th, 2009 at Menno Hospital. Helen will be deeply missed by her family. She was predeceased by her sister Mimie and daughter Doreen. Helen is survived by her Sister Gertie, Children: Son-in-law Robin, Janice (Leo), Lorrie (Jack) Wayne (Vivian), Stan (Sharon), Joan. Her twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and her great great grandchild Kaydn; also many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
One of Helen's greatest loves was dancing and she continued well into her 80's. She also loved to travel. She was an avid gardener, enjoying countless hours working in her garden of flowers. She was a member of the Royal Purple Lodge in Cloverdale for many years. Her family and friends will remember Helen for her generous nature, kind-heartedness and her sense of humor.

A celebration of Helen's life will be held at Menno Hospital in the Chapel at 32945 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
