LEYENAAR, Helena – Born May 12, 1950 in Lethbridge, AB and went to her heavenly home on April 12, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Yvonne Leyenaar, and a nephew David. She is survived by her brothers Jake (Lois) and John (Diane) plus nieces Alannah, and Deanne (Byron), and a nephew Curtis (Michelle). She will be missed by her family, her many friends at Elim, and the wide community of friends from her varied work and volunteer positions. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25th at Fleetwood Christian Reformed Church at 1:30 p.m. ; 9165 – 160th Street in Surrey. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or to the Fraser Valley Cancer Centre.
