Husband, father, (great),grandfather, uncle, friend, teacher,.... weary but faithful, crossed the finish line on Thurs. Jan. 29 at home with his family.
Born in Belgium Congo (Zaire), raised in Paraguay, South America.
Dave married and raised his family in B.C. Canada. His love for Jesus
and disadvantaged children lead to 40 years of serving with Canadian Sunday School Mission. He was instrumental in the development of Ness Lake Bible Camp, Hope Bay Bible Camp, Lake of the Trees Bible Camp, Clearwater Bible Camp, Echo Lake Bible Camp, Burrard Inlet Bible School, Cariboo School of the Bible and Amasa (services for children with handicaps).
Dave was best known for his deep love for his family, his church community, those who struggled with difficult life issues, his integrity, forthrightness and strong opinions.
We will deeply miss his spiritual strength, his wisdom and insights, his light tender kiss and his ``I love you too dear''.
Interment will be held at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644-72nd Ave. Surrey on Wed. Feb. 4, 2009 @ 10:30 a.m. Memorial service to follow at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 10330 - 144 St. Surrey @ 2 p.m. All are welcome to either or both.
