Joan Charlotte Beck (nee Murphy), born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on December 17, 1935, died peacefully, with family at her side, on January 7, 2022, at the age of 86. Joan is predeceased by her husband Frank Beck (2007) and her life and memory will be celebrated by her children Frank, Kirk (Leanne), and Wendy, grandchildren Nicole (Brian), Grayce and Anthony, Carson and Paige, great grandchildren Kyle (who predeceased her in 2018) and Tyler, and nine siblings, family, and dear friends. She was a proud mother and loving spiritual person. Joan loved gardening, sewing, arts and crafts, and sharing fond memories of family and her upbringing in Nova Scotia. We are grateful to the wonderful staff at Northcrest Care Centre.
