CORNELIS BOS

Born May 20, 1924 passed February 25, 2009. Joe was born in Amsterdam, Holland. He immigrated to Canada with his wife Tina and three children in 1963. The family settled in Fleetwood, Surrey. Joe was a scale technician by day for 25 years and repaired watch's and clock's by night for most of his life. Joe served in the Dutch Navy and traveled the globe. Joe mastered playing the violin and spent many years with the W.R. community Orchestra. Joe retired at the age of 60 due to a struggle with cancer. The cancer was in remission till 2006 and he spent his last 3 years fighting the courageous battle with strength, determination & dignity.

Survived by Tina, love of his life for 55 years. Children; Hans (Ingrid), Ron (Colleen) and Liz (Larry). Grandchildren; Desiree, Blake,Gabrielle, Mieka, Scott and Anika. Great Grand Child; Koen.

Joe had an incredible technical mind. He mastered engineering strategies with every project he accomplished and they were completed to perfection.

The family would like to thank Joe's family doctor, Dr. E low, Oncologist, Dr. Oja, the nursing staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Comcare Home Care Aides, Gayetry, Maria and the Home Palliative Care Nurses Carol and Dee-anne for your compassionate care. Thank-you to Peter Kok for his spiritual care and to family and friends for all your loving support.
