HANSEN, Johannes (John) Thorgaard, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at the age of 91 years. John was predeceased by his parents Hans and Thora. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; children Anna, Daniel, Linda; granddaughter Eve; and many extended family members and friends. For final viewing of our beloved Johannes (John) Thorgaard the location is The Evergreen Room at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Ave., Surrey between 10:00 am and 10:45 am. The Graveside service will take place on Friday, October 4, 2013, at 11:00 am at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Ave., Surrey. A Celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 1:30 pm at Bible Fellowship Foursquare Church, 15100 66A Ave., Surrey.
