STEWART-John Allan, at the age of 96 years, stepped into heaven on May 28, 2007 from Langley Memorial Hospital to join his wife Eileen, and daughter Janet who had preceded him. John was born January 4, 1911 in Buckie, Banfshire, Scotland, the son of Adam Christie Stewart, and Mary Dingwall (Munro) Stewart. For twenty years he was a missionary in China with the China Inland Mission (now OMF). From 1951 until his retirement he was the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Churches in BC in Langford, Cloverdale, Duncan, and North Surrey. He is survived by his sons Allan (Anna Lee) and David (Leona), grandchildren Ruth, Ron, Kayla & Jonathan, and great grandchildren Catrionagh and Liam. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday June 4th, 2007 at Newton Fellowship Baptist Church 7328 144 Street, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Overseas Missionary Fellowship-Building 21, 5155 Spectrum Way, Mississauga, ON L4Z 5A1.
