John Hayden Robinson

May 25, 1928 - April 25, 2009

Beloved and loving husband and father, Jack was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver in 1948 with his good friend Norm Alsip. Moved his family to Surrey in 1968.

Jack passed away peacefully at home with his wife at his side.

He is survived by his wife Doreen, sons Bruce & Brian, sisters Dolores (Jim) Anderson, Maureen (Nandor) Molnar, brother Mike Robinson, brother-in-law John (Shirley) Hastings and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by his beautiful sister-in-law Mona Robinson. Jack loved the game of hockey & spent many hours playing on frozen ponds in Winnipeg before playing Junior A in Winnipeg. He coached Newton minor hockey in the 70’s and 80’s.

He was a kind, compassionate man devoted to his family and friends. He held his in-laws in high esteem and was accepted with open arms by the Hastings/Tarantino/Kennedys. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. Heartfelt thanks to Drs. Angus Mc- Donald, Philip Lee & Mark Turner for their kindness.

Cremation has taken place. No Service by request.
